What It’s Like to Work With Me
I believe therapy is a collaborative process. I will meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and help you better understand the patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be affecting your life. Together, we will build tools that support you in creating meaningful and lasting change.
Qualifications & Experience
I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from University of Indianapolis and hold a master’s degree in psychology (M.S.) from University of Indianapolis.
During my graduate training, I have gained experience in:
Conducting intake assessments, including diagnostic formulation and treatment planning
Providing individual psychotherapy for concerns including depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, acculturation, multicultural adjustment, and life transitions at Purdue University Counseling and Psychological Services.
Delivering integrative, evidence-based treatment informed from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, humanistic, and other empirically supported approaches.
My Philosophy
“I believe meaningful therapy begins with creating a space where people feel safe enough to be fully themselves. I strive to understand each individual from their own perspective, experiences, strengths, and identities while providing care that is culturally responsive and grounded in their capacity for growth.”
