Accepting New Clients

Ages & Typical Clients: Children (5+), Teens, & Young Adults

Specialty Areas:
I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults facing:

  • Anxiety & depression

  • Self-esteem & identity exploration

  • School & peer relationship struggles

  • Emotional regulation & life transitions

  • Grief & Bereavement

Art therapy allows clients to explore their emotions and experiences in a way that feels natural, creative, and empowering.

What It’s Like to Work With Me:
Art therapy with me is a space for genuine self-discovery. It's not about artistic talent; it's about how creativity can help you explore your identity and personal narrative. We'll use art as a dynamic way to process emotions, uncover strengths, and gain deeper insight into what truly works for you.

My commitment is to provide a warm, open, and non-judgmental environment, built on a person-centered approach, where all parts of who you are are welcome to express themselves freely. Together, we'll navigate your experiences and empower you to cultivate the resources that genuinely support your well-being.

Qualifications & Experience:
I am currently studying Mental Health Counseling with an Art Therapy Track at the University of Indianapolis. My professional background includes:

  • Mental Health Peer Educator at DePauw University, informing and providing mental health resource to college-aged students

  • Skills Coaching in elementary schools, supporting students with emotional and behavioral challenges

  • Suicide Prevention for middle and high school students, educated students on warning signs and supportive techniques with suicide prevention

I believe everyone is unique and knows what is best for them. From this ideal, I utilize a client-centered approach which includes a mixture of:

  • Art Therapy & Creative Expression

  • Mindfulness

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Emotional Regulation Techniques

  • Self-Acceptance

Outside of Therapy:
I’m a graduate student and will begin conducting art therapy research in the fall. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors, exploring new food spots in Indianapolis, traveling, reading, and testing out new artistic hobbies.

My Philosophy:

“We all have a creative piece of our heart and embracing this side can allow you to uncover new aspects of yourself. Art therapy is about unlocking your unique creativity and discovering new ways to understand yourself.”
