What It’s Like to Work With Me:
I aim to create a space where clients feel comfortable reflecting on strengths and challenges, and using these insights to promote well-being. Whether through traditional talk therapy or art therapy techniques, I strive to make therapy a collaborative process to best suit your individual needs. My practice is inclusive of diverse populations, including, but not limited to LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, veterans, ND (Neurodivergent), PWD (People with Disabilities), and more. For those interested, I offer art-making, with no prior experience needed, as a way to express yourself beyond words, allowing the creative process to offer another outlet of insight to our work together.
Qualifications & Training:
I hold a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Indiana University Indianapolis. I am provisionally licensed as an Art Therapist (ATR-P) and am working towards my Associates Mental Health Counselor’s license (LMHCA). My background includes supporting individuals with a wide range of concerns, including chronic illness and cancer, mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions, trauma, and more.
My Approach Includes:
Psychodynamic Therapy to promote self-reflection and exploration to foster insight.
Humanistic Therapy to utilize client experiences and strengths to promote growth and wellness.
Art Therapy to use creative expression as a form of storytelling and self-exploration.
