What It’s Like to Work With Me:
I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, where clients feel empowered to shape their own narratives. My approach helps individuals externalize their experiences, recognize their strengths, and redefine their personal stories in a way that fosters growth and healing. For those who connect with creative expression, I incorporate art therapy as a way to explore emotions beyond words. I create a supportive, strength-based space where individuals can build resilience and self-awareness.
Therapeutic Approach:
I use a combination of:
Narrative Therapy to help clients rewrite unhelpful personal stories
Person-Centered Therapy to foster self-acceptance and personal empowerment
Art Therapy to explore emotions and experiences through creative expression
Strength-Based Techniques to build confidence and resilience
Qualifications & Experience:
I hold a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from IUPUI and am working toward licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-A). I am a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and a Perinatal Mental Health Trained Provider through Postpartum Support International. In addition, I am a Tier 3 Star Behavioral Health Provider, trained in military culture and evidence-based practices for working with service members and their families.
My clinical experience includes:
Supporting military service members, veterans, and their families in processing trauma and navigating life transitions
Providing emotional support and coping strategies to individuals facing chronic illness and cancer
Assisting refugees and immigrants in managing adjustment stress and promoting emotional well-being
Delivering therapeutic interventions within hospital settings and veterans’ care centers for diverse populations
My Philosophy:
"Your story is still being written—therapy is a space to reclaim your voice, recognize your strengths, and create new possibilities."
